Clearwater Ski Hill

Dear Clearwater and Ski Hill Friends!

Thank you for what has easily been the best season that the ski hill has experienced in many years! Today marked 55 days that we were open.

Unfortunately, with the current health crisis, the Clearwater Ski Club needs to join others in CLOSING effectively immediately. We do this with great sadness as the snow is amazing, the weather is gorgeous and we have a wonderful team that has come to feel like family. However, Dr. Bonnie Henry has been clear in her Provincial address that we all need to do our part in keeping our community safe, our front line workers safe and help "build the firewall".

On behalf of the Clearwater Ski Club executive, we wish to thank everyone who extended their support this past ski season!! We couldn't have done it without you! Your support has been greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Daniela, Shelley, Agneta, Stephanie, Tanya, Ben, Cory, Aaron, Alexis, Amber

Clearwater Ski Hill

**HOURS OF OPERATION UPDATE AS OF MARCH 17**

Hello good people of Clearwater,

We would like to let you know that the ski hill will be OPEN for the following dates:

Wed, Thur, Fri
11am to 4pm. $15/ tbar and $5 rope tow

Sat & Sun
11am to 4pm - by donation!

Our little ski hill is in a position where a Tbar allows natural social spaces. We will ask that people ride the Tbar as singles and we will be moving tables outside onto the deck. According to all health authorities, being outside is good and being active is encouraged. This all said, we will revise operations as neccesary and will adjust to health directives from the government. Dr. Henry is providing daily updates. Please watch our site for details. Things are subject to change.

Given that today Dr. Henry advised a ban on all gatherings of 50 or more people, FUN DAY which was previously scheduled for this coming Sunday has been cancelled. Spectator crowds are difficult to manage with social spacing requirements.

We hope that you will consider coming out to the hill and taking advantage of the great ski conditions and the warmer weather. We need positive moments and we hope a few good memories will be made this week. May you all be well and safe. We are grateful to be a part of this beautiful community and have every confidence that our giving and sharing nature will carry us through these trying times.

Sincerely,
The Clearwater Ski Club
